The MobiRoof ECO is a ready-made system green roof, which consists of plant cassettes filled with substrate and 6-8 different varieties of sedum plants. The cassettes are easily stacked next to each other, immediately creating a green roof. The MobiRoof ECO is a comprehensive system green roof, suitable for flat roofs and roofs with a pitch of up to 10 degrees (20%).
Green roof - an ecological solution
The MobiRoof ECO is a system green roof with a closed loop. The cassette is made of recycled material and is fully recyclable. This reduces pressure on the environment and reduces waste generation. The cassettes are planted locally with cuttings from our own nursery.
Unique green roof system
Unique lightweight cassette system in green roof is planted with various types of sedums and its substrate provides drainage and water storage in addition to its nutrient function. In addition, the cassettes can be exchanged. Thanks to this green roof can be designed according to your own requirements.
Green roof - why is it worth it?
Plants improve air quality by reducing CO2 and capturing of fine particles. UV rays no longer reach the roof, significantly extending the life of the roofing. Sedum trays also protect the roof from the elements and help store rainwater.
Insects such as bees are essential to our biodiversity. They play a key role in the pollination of our nature and contribute to the reproduction and development of our flora. The plants and flowers that grow as a result provide food and shelter for other animals, including humans. A professional bee hotel or nesting box provides a safe place to nest, rest and overwinter.
The nest boxes and bee hotels are manufactured in a social workplace using sustainable Dutch Douglas fir timber. All nest boxes and bee hotels are BIJ 12 compliant, and are ideal for meeting the requirements of the Nature Conservation Act or for use towards BREEAM certification, which requires the placement of nest boxes. The nest boxes and bee hotels can be placed in or around all Mobilane outdoor products and are available in a variety of types and sizes. More information can be found on the accessories page.
